It might just be one part of the transmission, but go to a lot of shops and get quotes.

Or get one from ebay or a wrecker and slap it in.

Re: 1994 s-10 trans trouble 4x4 blazer

I also have this problem, my 94 s-10 4.3 l chevy blazer with overdrive is stuck in 2 wheel drive, the light on the swith inside the vehicle is not burnt out becuase it comes on when the ignition is turned but then goes off and doesn't work. I thought it could be the vaccum swith on the transfer case but i couldn't get the old one out to replace it. Other than that I really have no idea what to do. But the problem i am haveing now is that when i am driving and get the car to 30mph you can push the gar as hard as you like but the engine just revs and it doesn't go any faster. I think it is the trans, but then again i don't know. please any suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks

Please keep you question in one thread ONLY.

You have a thread for your problem, I suggest your use it instead of asking the same question 2 or 3 times everywhere.
