i've noticed that a lot of people come in here and get offended at what others say, then take things upon themselves to correct that person. what's the point? do they ever really listen? have they not heard the same thing before? i don't care how anyone on here drives. but i do know that if someone hurts or kills a friend or family member of mine because they were doing something stupid on the road, they better not be in the better condition. because they WILL get what they deserve one way or the other. i think most of you will agree with me on that one. but it's not my place to tell others what's stupid and what's not. they already know.

And I suppose you expect a cookie for following this law while ignoring others. Right....

Ah the beautiful deriviative of the Ad Hominem argument known as Tu Quoque. Simply stated, "If someone else did X, its all right for me to do X." Come on, didn't your mother teach you about jumping off the bridge because the other kids were doing it, or did you miss that part of your childhood?

Somebody needs to read up on Immanuel Kant, for real. Active criticism is the only moral choice, for to not actively reject such actions is to be complicit in their existance. Also you need to seriously rethink attacking someone's ideas in this fashion, if you ascribe to simple Kantian logic: Is the Maxim, or at least a generalized interpretation, acceptable as a general moral law. In this case, traffic laws are acceptable as a general moral law that is to be obeyed, mainly b/c if all acted in your fashion, there would be no such thing as safe driving.

"WOW" you have been at this site longer than me. Your now one of the most respected of your peers. You don't know shit about me, except what I say, to come in here and tell me how mature or immature I am. I didn't ask your dumbass to come in here and even leave a comment. So you want me to drop it, then you drop it.
Somebody loves thier ad hominem argumentation. In this case you're using the circumstantial argument deriviative. You're making the claim that because the person critical of you has something to gain by being critical, they are not right. However, its like saying that the president is wrong in his domestic policies because he's just trying to sway domestic votes. Once again, the argument is an informal fallacy, at best.

Don't argue unless you can do it well, tool.
