shipped Replacement mirror- didnt fit

Thought I'd found a place on the web that I could get a RH/Manual mirror for my 1999 Rodeo. Even had a picture, so it looked just like the one that broke. Had it shipped from California to Alabama. Arrived today.. it dont fit. The triangle that fits up against the door is too big. BUMMER! I'll try to ship it back and get a refund minus the 20% restock fee. So- my question is.. as I start calling around to Salvage yards looking for this part... What can I tell them to make sure it IS the part I'm looking for, before I drive all over to see if its for real????? The triangle piece is plastic.. that's for sure.
Yeah..yeah.. Live and Learn
