Need some help! My 2000 Ram 1500 just developed an new problem. When I shut the engine off, it blows the fuse supporting the electric locks, and interior lights; any suggestions?
thanks in advance

Blown Fuse

I'm sorry but I just had to say this. Put in a bigger fuse. I have command start in my truck and with it I often use remote locks. When using this with a trailer connected, the flashing of lights caused too much stress on 5amp fuse. I noticed that the lights quit flashing on it but start/lock/unlock still worked. I took it in to where I had it installed, they checked and noticed the blown fuse and just put in a bigger one. My thought is have you hooked up any extras to that circuit? That may cause it to blow. Other than that, havent had your specific problem.

My motto: If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer.
