dammit why can't you idiots just let this thread die?? i've realized i shouldn't have pissed off all the walmart/ pepboys racers. so a sunfires the second largest investment you'll ever make??? whats the largest, your trailer?? but i guess when you deliver pizzas for a living you need all the hp and nos stickers you can get. i think you should stop spending all your minimum wage paychecks on your car and invest in an education then maybe you can pull your head out of your ass.

Re: Stupid Question from a beginner

The best way is to have a car look stock and run fast.
Mine is at Westers Garage getting the computer tuned. Headers and exhaust is on the way, along with a cold air intake, that should help the 2.4 out.
Still looks stock on the outside.

Re: Stupid Question from a beginner

These are the kind of Jackholes I like to see in the forums. This is the deal. I used to have a a 1988 IROC Z. That was, and still is my favorite car of all time. THAT is a real camaro. I don't know why, but I traded it in for a brand new '99 Ranger. It's probably a good thing I did, because gas prices are at $2 or so now. Recently I had a kid, so my wife's Sunfire coupe is a little aggravating to get a carseat in and out of, and if you think that's aggravating, try it with a 2-seater Ranger. I was planning on modding my Ranger, but I'm thinking of trading it in on a car for my wife, and taking her paid for Sunfire. My point is, people get thier cars for one reason or another. Five years ago, I was burning through four gears with no problem, now... I might end up with a Sunfire. Do you honestly think that I will keep that Sunfire stock? Having played with cars all my life, I would never drive that thing around like it is for more than 2 months. Anyway, mind your business, burn your tires, talk to other Camaro owners. These cars are other peoples second most expensive investment. Let them enjoy it.

Peace,
Ra

Re: Stupid Question from a beginner

Alright... to answer your last dumbass remark, I'm a Graphic Designer, I have a kid, a wife, who is an administative specialist, and all of our bills are paid off with the exception of my Ranger. And I still have money to spare. What do you have? Your Camaro... oh.. wait, I forgot. Your mom pays for that. And seriously, I don't know what year Camaro you have, but if it's a newer one, it's just as much of a piece of shit as any other newer sports car. You're in the wrong room you f**ck, get the hell out, and go jack your dick.

Peace,
Ra

Re: Stupid Question from a beginner

Okay, so no one is going to answer your question so I will. I work at an auto parts store and get this question alot so dont feel stupid for asking it. They are basically little k&n filters that you can use as breathers or as the claim "coolers" for the oil and trnasmission fluid and such. But to be honest they breathe the warm air from all the engine bay and dont make a damn difference. So if you get them there only use would really be for looks. Hope that answers the question.

That is only if you have a short ram. cold air induction is ran to a cooler part of the car. like the wheel well. only bad thing is you have to convert to short ram in the rainy season.

Mimium Wage Paychecks......... I am a driller on a drilling rig I make more than you could ever dream to make working for a dealership. I have a work truck F350 KingRanch but I love to drive my sunfire. I can get a camero with all the bells and whistles but I don't want to turn into a cocky bitch like you.

Re: Stupid Question from a beginner

Yes, Westers Garage in Tilley.
I'm from Medicine Hat.
Lyndon (the owner) has the program for the car, but I'm not sure if he has it figured out. He was busy and the program was a "when-ever" thing for him.
Actually selling the sunfire right now, just went through an ugly custody battle with x so have to sell it.
