9 Second daily driven civic.

So, we have a daily driven civic in SLC, who made a 9.93@146 pass this friday. Cortney Green, is probably the best tuner in the SLC area. He is also one of the nicest guys you could meet. Here is a video of his pass.

Re: 9 Second daily driven civic.

Everyone had been talking about him making his 9 sec pass. Said it would be only a matter of time before he did it. Lucky bastard. I can't see the vid though. Can't play .mov files.

Meh...When did this take place, and where? RMR?

Sure you can Musashi, but the name is going to change, I wonder if I should make a thread about it...maybe I just might.

As far as Cortney's Civic, I would hope to go see it in person if Kris wouldn't mind introducing me to it.

P.S. it has very little to do with tuning..... Speed is measured in Cubic dollar ammounts.

Hell, I'll take you up on that offer regardless. You should be in the mid 10 sec range shouldn't you this year?

You kidding lol. I must never told you about mine. I ran 10.6's last year under 20 psi due to the block issue w/ only a 60-1 turbo. This year i should be boosting 26 w/ pt71 which is alot bigger blower. Going for consistant 10 flats, don't really want a single digit times yet. If i did then i would be banned from rmr untill i get an advanced et license, parachute, fire suite, physical. don't knoe if its worth it.

No shit? Well, I've only seen the pictures here on AF. So I'll have to get a look at it sometime.

If you know you can run 9's easy, then why bother. It's like you said, I don't think it will be worth it to have to go through all that crap, just so you can run 9's. But, still, if you can easily pull off low 10's, then I wouldn't doubt you one bit. Good luck .
