Briding my subs down

How can i go about bridging my 2 Rockford p2 12" 8 ohm subs down to 4 ohms each on a kenwood 800w 2 channel amp?

Namely:

Are the subs dual voice coil?

Is the amp 2 ohm stable on each channel?

How do you have them wired now?

No subs arn't dual voice coil, yes amp is 2ohm stable on each channel, they are waiting to be installed.

wait, you're saying that the RFs are 8 ohms in a single coil?? I didn't think they sold them like that. If they are, the thing to do is wire them in parallel to the amp, bridged across the two channels (both positives connected to the outside positive, and both negatives connected to the outside negative). That will give the amp a bridged 4 ohm load.

There is no way to "bridge your subs down to 4 ohms each", a 8 ohm sub is an 8 ohm sub and can't be changed.

Yea they make a single coiled 8ohm sub.

but make sure your amp can be bridged before you go off trying to bridge it...not all amps can be bridged
