actually...you could...its been done...just not a stock 2jz...over 1500hp has been made from 1 t88h...but i know of someone wanting a lot more so through the magic of trd (and sponsership) they are getting a twin t88h setup...lag like a mofo but 2000+whp cant be wrong...but it does all depend on what you want your car to do...if you want high hp 2 hella huge twins...which lag like a big monkey, or drag a single around the size of a t72...quick spool w/ about 750 whp potential

Re: The Fast and The furious

I have something i wanna say about trashing the cars...i dont think its right either...its already hard enough to find good condition Supra's on the market the movie producers dont need to go and buy them just to trash them....soon there wont be any left and the Supra's amazment to everybody will be gone forever

one word to add to all this mess of twin or single tc SUPER CHARGER ya it robbs like 20 horse from the crank but if you were to replace ur fan with a electric one you would make up for the lost hp plus you would have no lag!! just my 2 cents

Yeah superchargers are a good ups... bot not for turbo cars. I have never heard of someone getting 8 second quarters and 800+ WHP on supers in something like a Supra. Usually a super is a great way to get some boost on N/A cars, because they act just like a Turbo but they attach to the belt instead of having a Turbo's manifold attaching style. they pair well with an air to water intercooler. But really theres no comparing a simple belt supercharger to someting like a big single, a sequencial twin sutup or a twin scroll setup turbos.

Re: The Fast and The furious

unless you move to the 4000+ horsepower drag cars. They use superchargers so they have constant air flow and no lag.
