Most Expensive Ticket?

Well, I've had many red light tickets, a couple minor speeding tickets and a disorderly condct. (doing brunouts on school property) that was $294.00

I want to hear how much your most expensive ticket was and for what reason...

Re: Most Expensive Ticket?

$400 for 71 in a 45 zone. The cop did'nt cut any slack at all. I got the ticket in Santa Clara county. I live in San Diego. I had to travel 8 hours north to deal with traffic court. Time to start modding my exterior and leave the damn engine alone. lol.

Re: Most Expensive Ticket?

only have gotten 1 ticket in my 4.5 years of driving. $120 for following too close resulting in an accident. Thank god it gets dropped in September. Hello to decent insurance rates again.

you had many red light tickets and they havent revoked your driving license yet? maybe on your next speeding ticket, youll get 6 months driving suspended.

Re: Most Expensive Ticket?

...there's a warrant out for me in TX cause I never called them back about one speeding ticket

but my most expensive was $175 for doing 91 in a 55 on the PA turnpike coming home from Philly one day -- plus 2 points on my license

it was orignally 290 or something, but i fought it down to 65

I've had my license suspended for 180 days once, but not because of red light tickets. Here in Maryland (and i don't know if it's just here or applies in other states) but if you get a red light ticket, it's just a fine of $70.00 and no points on your license because they can't prove who was driving. So no points..which is nice other wise you're right, my driver's license would be revoked!

I think I've Got EVERYONE Beat

So, i had my car for ONE FREAKING WEEK and me and my boyfriend are just messing around driving down the road, and all of the sudden he beeps my nextel saying ''slow down, u've got a pig (a cop for those of u who dont speak disrespectably about cops lol) right behind you'' so i slow it down, but still get pulled over, and so does my boyfriend, to make a long story short, after about 30 minutes and many ''this is the fast and the furious you kno'' comments i drive off... but not with a little parting gift... 4 tickets, totally 1250$ and the possobility of 15 points. Engaging in a speed contest, 98 in a 45, reckless driving, and spinning wheels (which was an accident, i was shifting outa 1st and still kinda knew to the whole clutch thing) thank god i had a good lawyer who talked it down to 2 points and 350$ including court fees...needless to say, i normally have bragging rights when the whole expensive tickets'' convo comes up..

$400? i had a 77 in a 45 and went to court with no lawyer. i got 90 days court supervision, $90 fine, and no traffic school, and it didn't go on my record. this was also my 2nd ticket, which i just got off of supervision for, which was 67 in a 40, resulting in $125, 4 months supervision, and traffic school.
