Question 97' A4 2.8 V6 Exhaust Systems..

My friend has a 97' A4, 2.8 V6.. He was trying to find a full exhaust system for the car, so he doesn't have to get custom piping. We've look through lots of companys, and haven't found anything.. Someone tould us about a company called 'Brullen' that makes a complete system.. So far I haven't been able to find a website for them.. If anyone knows of their website, or any website that sells 'Brullen' for the 97' A4, 2.8.. I'd appreciate if you could maybe.. tell me?
..And if there is no such thing as the 'Brullen' system, Anyone know of a good Duel tip muffler that we could put in? ..no DTM's though.

Thanks, Codez

LLTEK has one. one thing to keep in mind when people are telling you about mods for the 97 2.8 is that your model (and my 96) are 12 valve engines so mods arent the same. so just be cautious about that when people tell you that you should get certain things (like a PES supercharger, only for the 30 valve). anyway, check out http://www.lltek.com and you should find one there. i found the one that im almost positive is for the 12 valve, part #BRUB5-08, heres the link http://www.lltek.com/exhaust_A4_B5.htm

he may have gotten exhaust from lltek, but he doesnt have a 12 valve engine so its not the same exhaust (he has a PES supercharger which is, like ive said before, only available for the 30 valve).

Re: 97' A4 2.8 V6 Exhaust Systems..

oh yea ur right

if u get a 98 exaust is the same as a 97 it jsut that in 97 the had after cat o2 sensors and in 1998 the got rid of them. So you can get a o2 simulator to get rid of the after cat o2 sensors and get he 98 exause which i there there is alor of optins for the 98.... here ths site for the o2 simulator http://www.o2sensorsimulator.com/

could you explain that a little more? so youre saying that the 97 has oxygen sensors after the cat and that the 98 does not, so that the only thing that you need to get is a fake o2 sensor and then it will work? i guess what im not understanding is the info from the website. it said that all cars made after january 1, 1996 have secondary o2 sensors. so im wondering why the 1998 exhaust doesnt have the secondary o2 sensors and where the 02 sensors are if they are after the cat for the 97. usually you dont even deal with the o2 sensors with a cat-back exhaust, i guess i just dont understand what youre trying to say.

all in all yea they kind of are fake o2 snesors idk about any other company but audi got rid of the after cat o2 snsors in 98 buse they didnbt really do much and that is also why they have a diffent exuset for the 30v so if u get that o2 simulator it will make it so the car will not have a chek engine light fot the o2 sensor being out, I dont think the simulator will work for the o2 snesors before that cat cuse thoes have to do alot with the air fuel ratio.
