well im 16 and need a cd player for my car (only have a am/fm radio) and have found this cd player for cheap (under $100 CND) and am wondering if its a good first buy (not looking for much just something that will work and be loud) im just looking for it to work for playing cd's while i drive around town and on the few trips to the coast (5 hour drive) so whats your take on this cd player?

a CD player is a CD player unless you gonna pay at least $400 (retail) for it. The only criteria I use is, does it skip.

Re: kenwood KDC-205, is it any good?
Well, I'm big into MP3s, and my main criteria is that it will do MP3 files from a CD. I would highly recommend getting a wiring harness and mounting kit that comes free with that sort of thing from either car-domain.com or crutchfield.com. Crutchfield has HUGE customer support, and are really good at helping new people to the hobbie get started.

i think u can find a head unit in the $125 price range that plays mp3s
get it from sounddomain, they pricematch, and they send u a harness car kit and hu install kit |
