2000 Camry VIP 3200 alarm kit.

Does anyone know why the VIP RS3200 plus system that came factory installed in my 2000 Camry with the three button remote cannot be replaced with the VIP RS3200 kit that comes with a four button remote. I'm trying to install the electric trunk release option on my 2000 Camry that's used with the VIP RS3200 system. I'm told and have read that if you have factory installed keyless door locks the VIP RS3200 kit will not work when installed. The only difference I can see is the the three button remote that came with the car is manufactured by TRW, the VIP RS3200 kits remotes are made by Fujitsu Ten. I'm thiniknig that the wire harness for the stock factory keyless entry system is not compatible with the kit. I cannot find anybody that knows the reason whythe RS3200 kit wont work. Toyota cannot provide an answer.
