01 Grand Caravan, Power window pins

2001 Grand Caravan, Looking for schematic on switch pins to daignose if I have a bad switch or motor. Intermittent problem. Motor will go down, but then stay down. After 5 minutes, it will go up very slowly and sometimes stop part way. Sounds like a motor, but do they use relays on these motors? At $95 an hour diagnostic time at thdealership, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Dodge uses a relay on all these minivans. They have a complete unit that plugs right in. If you can remove the panel on the door, you can D.I.Y.S. Dodge told me that this is the most common problem & most dealers will have this in stock so that should tell you Dodge knows about this but won't admit it. Good luck

I had the same problem on my van. I took the motor apart and cleaned it and it worked for a few days. Finally broke down and bought the motor regulator combo (this is the only way it comes) and replaced the old one. I bought it new from the dealer for about $100. Installing it was pretty tricky. To get the old regulator out you have to allow the window to slide all the way down, remove the weather stripping from the window and slide the old regulator up through the window slot to manuever the bottom part out. The top will then follow. I would also get some door panel clips while you are at the dealer, because you will certainly brake some getting the panel off.
