Hit a curb with my car.

Hey i hit a curb with my car and i think i bottomed it out on the curb not sure though. Then when i tried to drive away i went from reverse to drive and heard a loud noise. Then i poped my hood and now it wont close can ne one help me please

I have a pontiac sunfire 2002

WTF!!! drinking and driving is bad, mmkay.

sounds like you may have done some damage to the car there guy.

We're going to need more info if you are going to get help. what kind of noise, from which side of the car? Does the hood go down all the way and not latch? or does it not make it down that far?

just from what little you said... I'm going to say that the noise was the motor shifting position on the curb, and that you may have done some damage to one of your fluid pans (oil or tranny) the hood not closing s a different one, depending on the situation, it may just be a problem with the latch, or, you could have bent the whole front end, depending on how hard you hit the curb and how much thrashing you did while on the curb.

i believe it was the back , the hood goes down and latches but not all the way.i heard the noise after i hit the curb like 5 mins after when i shifted. i hit the curb going probaly not too fast i was turning into a parking lot and bam, but i didn't do any damage to the front bumper or ne thing and i drove it home just fine, but do u think the damage is severe like how much to repair u think? IS IT DRIVABLE?
