Unhappy bad headlights?

I've noticed lateley that when I drive at night, my headlights will go out. I usually switch them off and on, and they will come back on, but this does'nt last. They will flicker. Could this be a bad fuse?

Re: bad headlights?

Check your fuse first, usualy for me i head strait to the fuse box when something dosnt work.... just my rule of thumb... If you have a spare one replace it then even if its good. The clips on the back of the lights may have come loose aswell, however if theres one thing ive noticed in both my 91 3.8 and my 92 5.0 the electrical systems can be tempermental.

Go run it over to Ford I had the exact same problem. Someone here told me about a Ford Recall with bad headlight switch. So I took it in they ran my VIN number and it qualified. They just fixed it yesterday (4/21/05) for FREE! I'd gone to some other mechanic and he quoted me $250.00 bucks to fix the problem. Now it works perfectly and the lights are even brighter.......now I just have to fix all the other stuff wrong with it....

Re: bad headlights?

Don't think that the recall affected '94s but it never hurts to check.
