Do your cars have EGR valves?

Hi all, here's what I have going on....

I'm acquiring parts to install a 91 B18a into my 89 CRX. I puchased a long block from a local salvage yard but it came off an automatic transmission vehicle. My CRX is a manual so I'm converting it over, not a big deal since I didnt by the tranny with it.

I believe that one difference between automatics and manuals is the presence (or absence) of an EGR valve. My Haynes manual and other resources are not really clear about whether it should be there or not. The block I bought had the intake manifold on it and it includes an EGR valve, which doesn't surprise me because it was from an auto tranny car. BUT HERE'S THE PROBLEM: I just purchased a stock manual intake manifold from a private party off another forum and when it arrived it had an EGR valve.

For those of you with early tegs (90 and 91) and manaul trannys, does your car have an EGR valve? Or did this guy rip me off?
