car not running

Hi, I have a 93 grand cherokee, and I just installed a new battery, and I tried starting it, the car starts with a lot of effort, but when it does, I have to keep applying gas when I let go of the gas pedal, the car shuts off so I dont know what the problem is ?

Its hard to say without more Info. Try checking the fuel pressure sounds like it might be starving for gas which would be a bad fuel pump or cloged filter.

Hi again, well now the car rotates but it doesnt start, I did check the fuel pump and the fuel pump relay. So what do you think is the problem now ?
