well finally got someone to race me..

so i decide to go out for a drive last night around 10 and as im turning onto a main 2 lane road, there is a 5th gen prelude in front of me. so i catch up to him and i look in and notice its a younger guy..between 20-25ish, so my friends tells me to entice him. i throw my car in neutral and give it a couple revs...and the guy never looks over at me, so my friend just starts frantically wavin her hands around trying to get him to look over to get him to go. but he never looks. the next thing i know he drops it and takes off, so i hit it and dont catch him at all. were going at about 60 at this time. then we hit it at the same time and he just slowly walked away from me, but i finally caught back up to him round 90. so after were driving down the road awhile we finally get a light. he pulls up next to me but dosent look like hes going to go. so i just sit there when the light turns green and he goosed it. so i hit it as quick as i could and actually caught up to him this time and started to pull on him when he finally merged onto the freeway...so no time for thumbs up..and the whole damn time.. he never looked over

Dont take him not looking over as an insult, i usually dont when i'm about to race, i'm quirky like that though. Clean lookin car though, good luck next time.

ya my car is an auto..wouldnt have been if it was up to me but it was a hand me down by my dad. and i had 2 people in the car total.

Thinkin about getting a manual then? I dont know much about Maxima's but if you can find a manual tranny from the same year i wouldn't think the swap would be to hard.

Good race, especially in an auto...and that was cheap of the guy to give himself a headstart by not actually acknowledging you...i wonder why he did that

hell ya it would be awesome. id have to wait till im out of the house and got some money tho. nice thing is tho my next door neighabor just bought him self a garage and is a nissan guy, and hes already talkin about how it would be sweet for my car to be manual..so i will when im able

yeah the manuals are a lot more fun :-D haha (I myself drive a 89 Maxima 5 spd with 196.5K on the odometer...but i can still surprise a few people...haha)
