97 PA starter motor replacement

I think the starter motor is about to give it up. With incereasing frequency when turning the key to the start postition it only clicks like the battery is weak or loose or dirty connection. Checked all of these possibles and no problem here. Where is the starter motor located --- left side, right side, front rear?-- and how bad a job is it to R & R?

Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure your battery terminals are tight, and clean. This can make the symptoms you describe.
