COMPLETE: Benny P's 1974 Kings Row Laguna

SOmething different for me..... and for this board, but hey, here it is....

Built using a monogram chassis and MPC Body that was a glue bomb at 20 yrs old! Thanks goes out to John Schaefer for the awesome modelhaus wheels and Rod Statman for the reference help.

I can field that question for you, Will. It's an overflow tube. NASCAR, to this day, uses a gravity can fuel filler system during pit stops instead of pressurized rigs (think of F1 or Le Mans pit stop fires and the usual cause - rig malfunction - the gravity can is actually safer). The way the teams know the fuel cell is full is by filling until gas comes out the overflow tube. Don't worry though, they have a smaller catch can that slots right onto the overflow tube. Making that portion of the pit stop safe as well.
