water on carpet =

95 acheiva,4 door. heavy rain,then water on carpet on passenger side. also in trunk on drivers side. anyone have this same problem??

sounds like you have a weather stripping problem

i had a problem like this on my 2000 intrigue. it looked like someone poured a bucket of water on the passenger side floor. never happened again. it seemed very weird. no water any place else.

i found my problem = under the black plastic cowl, the air inlet box for the a/c and vent system on this 95 acheiva = the flap door hinge gets defective and allows water to enter.i cut up a biscuit pan to fit and covered it. if you continue getting water in your car have some one look up under the dash as you run water on the windshield. that may tell a tale.
