Anyone help with this...??

A few months ago I got a 2001 Acura Integra and I have been adding stuff here and there because I am tapped for money and I cant do anything major because its under a lease. I added some great audio inside and the outside i got the altezzas and everything. Now I just bought the lighting A emblems and I have to install them. I wanted to know if anyone could help me and tell me how to install them. I want to install them on the front and rear. They have wires on them obviously to light up and I know they should be hooked up to the lights so they go on when I turn the lights on. Can anyone tell me how to like install it like take off the old emblem and install these. It would be a big help thanx!

take the stock emblems off (use a 1 line screw driver or something to stuff inside and bent it out, and dun wori, they come off pretty easily!)..and there should be 2 holes..clean the sirface and rub off any remaining double sided tape that still sticks on the hood, ok the 2 holes, the onyl way i can think of that u can connect is to get a real long wire one black and one red, and connect it down the hood to the battery area down at the back and then join the wire along to the light switches..cause then this is the only way I can think of that could stll let u open and close ur hood easily without the wire in ur way!..

and for the back..do something the same..accept connects to the brake lights! don't just connect them though..make sure u have the line along the hood or boot near the joint area..so that when u open or close u won't pull the line etc..hope u get what i mean!.

I am going to try that but one thing are these light up emblems illegal? Am I going to get hasseled by the cops for them?
