1998 Eclipse GS Question

Hey Guys!

I am just wondering what engine is in a 1998 2.4L Eclipse GS. Will the lifters and rocker arms from a 4G63T out of a 94 Talon TSi fit this engine?

Please let me know, I am kinda brain dead on this.

Thanks!
Alex

EDIT>> I found that the engine code begins with 4G64X, this makes me assume that the lifters and rockers will not fit, is this correct? Please let me know ASAP.

Re: 1998 Eclipse GS Question

the 2.4L Eclipse was the 4G64 (Spyder only). 4G63 top end parts won't work unless you swap to a 4G63 head (which is certainly doable)
