CAI problems please help
I Have a 2003 Tib V6, I have a few minor mods and am currently having problems with my CAI. I ran it all summer last summer without any problems. In the winter i just remove the pipe and put the filter in the engine compartmnet(snow gets pretty deep around here) This year i put it back on, and my car is chugging at certain revs in each gear. I'v got a check engin light on and have had it read by the dealership. It turns out its my Mass airflow sensor.... The Joey's at the dealership have said that alot of people are having problems with their aftermarket CAI's and how they are affecting the MAS so they have taken them off. I think this is bs. I put it back to the way it was before i had any problems and its still doing it. Could if be that my MAS just needs to be replaced.... or can i bypass it... I just dont understand how it worked fine last year, and then this year its fubared. Please help.

Re: CAI problems please help
you prolly put the MAF on backwards. make sure the honeycomb grill is facing your filter, not the engine.

You also might wanna clean the filter.
