can't find pistons or rods for my block
i have the d15b and i can't find anything for it i know the head is like the z6 but the buttom end is dif soo what do i do about pistons and how much hp can the rods take? all im wanting is about 160 hp to wheels and i know its going to cost tons but i need to be able to find parts before i can build it and what cam is good for this motor i hear the zex stage 1 is like the same cam that comes with this motor?
any help would be good thanks for every one who toke a look at this. dont mean to be a pain but i have been readin on this motor all the time and all i find is people that swap it in but never build it. what motor should i try to find tb off to put on my intake like a b16 or a b18 or b20 i see people taken them off the b line and putting them on the d why?

Are you looking for forged internals or stock? Stock honda rods are only good for about 200hp so I assume you are looking for forged. Here are a few questions for you to answer to let us help you.
1) What are your goals? 2) Do you plan to go turbo/supercharger/nitrous/or naturally aspirated? 3) What kind of budget are you looking at? All D series rods will work. Just pick you a set of Eagle H beams up for about $300.

yeah th 1.5 is kinda hard to get aftermaket stuff for it since the rods are not the same size as the D16 (check crowers website).
The JDM D-series that is best for this stuff is a SOHC ZC Vtec.

thanks for the help and my goals are 160 to the wheels and its going to be na with maybe a 25 shot but probly just all motor and i want to autocross. zc vtec isn't that 1.6 motor?

if i used my rods got them shotpeen and got some srp d15b7 pistons that are 10.5to1 would those pistons fit this motor? plus whats the dif being the d15b with stage 2 vtec and d15b with stage 3 vtec?
and if these are soo great of motor's how come there not more parts out for them ? im going to try to use d15b7 buttom end and d16z6 for the top hope it works.
