my 95 talon tsi vs 02 protege se with mods

This race happened downtown. It was me vs the guy i did not see for a long time. He colled me and asked if i want to race him. He said that he dynod 285hp with exhaust, intake, viper chip. He also told me that he ran 13s with his mods. I was like "really, you should than have no problems beating me, because my car prob. runs mid 14s" My mods are: Hallman ES boost controller
Greddy type s bov
Megan 3" Cat Back
3" downpipe
no cat
K&N Air cone with injen intake
Greddy upper and lower ic pipes
Greddy Turbo timer
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
SAFCII
AR boost gauge
A/F gauge
15psi of boost but drops down to 11psi after 5k rpm(t25)
We raced at 10:20pm. I was with my brother and he was with his girlfriend. We made 5 runs from a stop. At first gear we were even because of my fwd having no traction, but after i hit 2nd i just walked away easily. It was like taking candy from a baby. But, at the last race my oil filter popped out and i lost oil pressure and my turbo toasted. My t belt almost got stuck between pulleys. AAA had to tow my car home. After i stopped, we talked a bit. He was really surprised that my car beat his so easy. He told me that his protege is special edition with 170hp stock. I explained to him that his car is not a 13s car and he cant be making 285hp. He told me that next time he will call me again, when he gets more mods and when i fix my talon. Next time i won't be wasting my gas on him.

ouch that sucks, your oil filter popped off? do you change your own oil or something? Otherwise i would go to where ever you had it changed at and make them pay for any damages.

Do you know what a 95 talon with 300hp at the crank would time&trap in the 1/4?

i would guess low 13's not sure on the trap. but i think it would depend upon if it was fwd or awd.

impressive! but five runs is alot dude. Nice kill but next just ask for 3 runs, highway, stop and roll. For sure you would have killed him on the highway though. Those GsT's are pretty fast on the highway. Nice kill, but sucks that your oil filter flew off
