Do I need a special tool to change my fuel filter and about how far from the gas tank is the filter?

here's a good how-to, faceless

The filter is kind of hard to find - you'll have to look around a lot. If I remember correctly when I did mine, it's tucked up beside one of the sides of the gas tank.

Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

No problem - yeh it was a pain. I wore a face shield too when I did mine, and it was a good thing cause it sprayed gasoline all over me .
