LT255/85R16...Will they fit??

On my 96 K2500, I want to put LT255/85R16 tires on it.
I will be using the stock rims. From what I have read, this
tire size would be about like a 33X10-16, correct??

Will they fit, or do I need to lift it a bit??
Any help appreciated!

I have that size tire on my 1500 Silverado and did not have to crank the torsion bars at all although i did to level it a bit. You should have no problem at all on a 2500.

Thats the answer I was looking for. This tire size is often
overlooked cuz people think they are too narrow. They are
about the same width as my stock 245/75-16's.
I have a lift kit, its one of those that comes with the torsion
keys with the different index, and 2" blocks for the back.

I am not sure if I want to install this lift or not. I have been
told bad things about blocks, they can pop out, stuff like that.
But, with this lift, and the tires I think it would lift my truck
3 to 4 inches.

Decisions decisions...
