That article was dumb and closeminded. Import vs Domestic arguments are all retarded, any car can be made to beat any car, end of story. Who manufactured it doesn't make a difference. This will probably be closed since import vs domestic threads are prohibited, i assume b/c of the amount of ignorance it takes to take a side in the argument, and that's all this thread could possibly turn into.

Domestic vs Import isn't a battle of performance at all...if it was that then each would have 9 second cars stock. Its a battle of sales. The performance battle is between the consumer to see who mods best.

I hope you people will soon realize that anti-ricer threads are in no way related to import vs domestic threads. People who hate ricers, like me, just post about how stupid ricers are. We never mention anything about domestic vehicles. Ricers suck, period. If you're gonna trick out a car, do it right.

Domestic cars nowadays are crap. The only good domestics are the classic muscle cars of the '60s and '70s. Today, domestics are made of plastic, get really shitty gas mileage, ridiculously overpriced, and perform no better in a crash test than a paper plane. Imports are safer, cheaper, and get way better gas mileage. A stock Civic is an all-around good car. A riced-out Civic is just a piece of shit.

It is all what people think they are just cars and some you hate and some you like. Sorta like me I like the 60s 70s vette but I don't like the 80s through know. It's all up to the people end of story. You can like whatever you like and we can't stop you. To me a car is a car and that will never change(except Hybids they suck hate them badly.) They are all cars and cars are to be driven and not compared until the carshow.
