new... '01 is300 or '05 corolla s

im stuck between these two choices

should i get an 2001 is300 with around 50-70k miles on it for around 16 grand

or

a 2005 corolla type s auto for around the same price.

also i am thinkin of a scion tc possibly, but not a big fan of two door hatchbacks.

one more thing, which one would have higher insurance, the is300 or the corolla?

by the way, im glad to be on the forums... 1st post here.

The Corolla Type S is a sweet looking car. It's got my vote!

I work in a toyota/lexus dealer in canada adn ive seen plenty of both. Id say go with the corolla because they are probably the most reliable carsw on the road today but in the end its totally up to you. Make sure u test drive them both.
