88 k5 wont go over 30

i have an 88 K5 blazer that wont go over 30 mph and i think and am hoping that its just a fuel filter or fuel line that has a clog....any fix that would be fairly cheap would be greatly apreciated.

88 k5 tbi 350 and thats all i know the rest is stock

Almost any time there is a problem with the maximum speed, it is something plugged. It can be the intake, fuel, or exhaust. Check the tailpipe for taters!

hope you got it fixed. if its not a crack in the fuel line try changing the trany filter. I have seen a few old cars that were never over 30 mph in there life, spring back in to shape.

a budy of mine got a 70 mustang that way cheep. nobody wanted it since it would only go 30 mph tops. he gave it a tune up and changed the trany filter. did burn outs trying to get it out of the grage.
