Launching a tiptronic?

I have a 1995 FTO GR (V6 non-mivec) with tiptronic gearbox.

Just wondering if anyone has ever reved the hell out of one of these in neutral and then slammed it into drive?

If so, what happened?

Cheers.

Give it a try. Then, if you break sumfin, you've got an excuse to put in a manual and a mivec engine, huh?!

Re: Launching a tiptronic?

Done it loads, but might be an idea to slam it into tip mode else the auto box will put it in 2nd or 3rd.

BTW don't blame me if the box breaks

...naa I'm With Slam It Into Gear From Nuetral And Make Sure Someone Has A Camera... Then You Can Post The Pics!

Guess Purple Must Have A Different Selector To My G/f's Car Cause I'd Have To Go Through 2nd 1st Drive And Then Into Tiptronic... From Memory...
