paint on masking tape

i found some of this in my dad's watercolour set, im not sure of the make but has anyone used it before?

I used some Humbrol Maskol the other day as a test to see how it worked. Worked fine for me, but I wouldn't use it for large areas. Seems useful for small hard to mask areas, but I also used it with Tamiya tape.

Overlay the maskol over the tape, when painting fisnished, pull the masking tape, maskol came off with it. Easy to use. But as I said, seemed only useful for small hard to mask areas.. And I wouldn't do window trims etc with it.. Great for underside detailing etc..

Yep..

Smells lilke cat pee..!! Not that I go around sniffing cat litter trays, but it does smell a little fishy, like the toilet not been flushed for a few days or a urinal in a public house..

Works though, so bad smell or not, does the trick in small areas..!!
