2000 cherokee center console removal

I have all the screws out, cannot manuver the console around the emerg. brake handle and shifter to take it out. are there any tricks to this? any help would be appreciated.

Pull the parking brake handle up as far as it goes.You might have to pull it farther than it seems like it should go

Thanks xj31, I pulled the brake handle much higher than normal, everything slipped right out.
