I for a long time have wanted an impreza WRX Sti and i just want to know if its worth it to get the sti package. Is the car still fast without it?

Many, many people have counseled me in this, and I feel confident that they are correct. If you don't know whether or not the STi package would be worth it for you to pay the extra money, don't get it. The WRX will suit all of your needs just fine. The people who will use the STi to its full potential already know that they will need the extra STi stuff. If you don't know whether you really want it or not, I can almost guarantee you that you'll never miss the STi stuff you never had. I drive a regular WRX, and I haven't regretted a minute of it.
