Can my 420A fit into a Neon?

I'm selling my stock 420A motor from my '98 Eclipse RS. My friend wants to buy it and throw it into his 420A equipped neon (since I've been taking great care of it, and it's only got 50k miles). I know the intake and exhaust are different, so what can be swapped without modifications? Thanks for the help!

i've heard of people putting the 2.4L from the pt cruiser into a neon and turboing it like the srt-4, but you might wanna ask the neon guys this Q

some neons come with a 420, but they are backwards from the eclipse

Yeah, I've also aske the neon guys. They said to ask us, the eclipse guys. lol From everything I've read, it is backwards, on the opposite side of the engine bay, and different intake and exhuast. So, in theory, it should work out just fine....
I think I'm going to e-mail HowellAutomotive about their built Eclipse 420A crate motor, and ask if it'd fit into a neon. If they say yes then there's the answer... Then the only question is how much work it'd be. lol Thanks for the responses!

The 420A is a neon engine in an eclipse. Not sure when they added it to neon, but im pretty sure it was before it was in a eclipse....not sure tho.

Seen a few eclipses with a pt block. Might be nice to put the srt4 eng in there if it fits. But if your selling your 420, are you putting in a built motor? If so, might be worth it to sell the NT and find a whore'd out 1g and put a 6 bolt in
