street dreams poster

Hello everyone im new to the board. I draw the comic in Hi Beamz magazine called street dreams heres a poster for it. it should be coming with an issue of the magazine soon. comments are welcome. the technique was freehand the art, ink, and color in photoshop 7

Great! can't wait to see it finished. It's just... the cars are a bit too toony in my oppinion. But photoshop work is good. And camera angle is great.

thanks for the comments. id like to make the cars more realistic but the turnaround wouldnt be there for the comic. plus if the poster cars look more realistic then the cars in the comic wouldnt that be inconsistent?

nice angle. rather stylized looking reflections.

generally, any car art you see w/ reflections will have harder edges unless you are depicting a scene in the fog.

very cool poster. I like the toony feel of it. Something looks funny about the neons on the front car though... they sort of "stop" abruptly, but they should have more of a gradual fade. Am I making sense?

Very nice. Just one thing... I SWEAR, maybe my eyes are just of or something... is that yellow car angled up a few degrees from the street? It kinda seems to me like the car is leaning to the driver's side?

i see that aswell now but its only slightly,
i also notice the shape of the roof on yellow car is off
