So... if a semi crosses over the centerline, you'll be fine if you take the ditch, right?
![]() In a way, I'm glad it got a low rating. One reason is that a very sturdy vehicle inherently does worse that a plastic shell because there is really nothing that will crumple. Also, it will keep rich families from buying a big crew cab truck to drive around the city. Yea, it sucks that GM trucks got the lowest, but you've got to remember, they smash the test vehicles into a brick wall. The wall isn't going to give like another vehicle would. Just don't be driving into any overpass supports
