Thumbs down 2005 GM trucks grab worst crash ratings

Sucks to read, only 3 of 5 stars for the Sierra and Silverado.

Yeah, it does suck to know that... but hey, it still got 4 in a rollover. For better and for worse.

Re: 2005 GM trucks grab worst crash ratings

So... if a semi crosses over the centerline, you'll be fine if you take the ditch, right?

In a way, I'm glad it got a low rating. One reason is that a very sturdy vehicle inherently does worse that a plastic shell because there is really nothing that will crumple. Also, it will keep rich families from buying a big crew cab truck to drive around the city.

Yea, it sucks that GM trucks got the lowest, but you've got to remember, they smash the test vehicles into a brick wall. The wall isn't going to give like another vehicle would. Just don't be driving into any overpass supports
