Erratic locking???
My Ex-wife has a 99 montana. She took it to the local shop for plugs and wires while I was on vacation, and when she left the shop, the doors locked as they always do... then they locked again....and again.....and again.etc. The shop of course states that this is a coincedince. Now I've heard of problems with the contacts in the sliding door, and I may have had to mess with that before. I don't remember. That van has lots of electrical gremlins. The keyless entry works fine as do the door locks. It just insists on locking the doors repeatedly as soon as you drive away. Hepl?

Re: Erratic locking???
Sounds like what happened to my '97 a few years ago. I had to reset the times that the door locks and unlocks,( you can time the door locks to lock when you put the vehicle in drive, and can have it unlock when you take it out of drive into park, or when you turn the key off, etc.) There is a section inyour owners manual that addresses the procedures to set the timing of the locks. I don't have my owners manual handy right now, but if you need further info, let me know and I can post it on this thread.

Re: Re: Erratic locking???
Hey Thanks! I came across the programming guide for this feature. I'm going to try to get it to quit locking automatically altogether.
