lost keys!!!!

does anyone know how to take out the ignition switch?
the steering wheel is off and now the darn thing doesn't
want to get out!!!....someone... HELP!!!

The ignition cylinder won't come out unless the key is in it, then must turn to run position. the under the column there is a hole to access a pin on the cylinder which must be pushed up and while pushed up you can slide out the cylinder . BUT you lost keys, Cylinder has to be carefully drilled out by someone with experience or else major extra damage $$$$$ can occur. I would suggest calling a locksmith, They can usually make a key.

What year is your truck? You may be able to just go to the dealer and they can cut you one there. All you need to bring them is the VIN #.

True, But
You would have to go to the original selling dealer, prove you own the truck, and they might have the key codes on file. Ford Motor Company for security reasons do not keep the key codes . The codes are sent with the car to the dealer and the dealer might record the codes before they pass them on to the new vehicle buyer. If the dealer did record them they may only hold them for a few years.
