1988 Suburban wiper problems

Just bought the vehicle last month. Wipers won't shut off unless I play around with the switch, and will not park properly. Intermittent wiper delay does not work at all. I changed out the turn signal multifunction lever. This fixed the cruise control (2 broken wires in switch), but not the wiper problems mentioned above. I know there is a wiper delay relay board, but need some help finding it, and advice on repairing or replacing it. I am hoping not to have to change out the whole wiper motor, if possible.
Thanks in advance for any advice and replies !

The wiper motor pulse board is right on the wiper motor, under a plastic cover. The wiring harnes plugs into it. It is usually readily available at GM dealers, Delco Distributors, or any aftermarket parts places.

I found out on the '91 and older Suburbans, that the wiper relay pulse module is located on the bottom of the steering column behind the dash panel. I changed it out, and it made no improvements on the wipers. Got the wiper system wiring and troubleshoot diagrams off of www.alldatadiy.com. It turned out being the park switch that is attached to wiper motor, an $11 part that took me 10 minutes to change. The wipers shut off, park, and work like they should now, including intermittent settings.
