Hi all, I need help with stock speaker mounts for the rear of a '94 hatchback. I have speakers and a 10 $ Delco unit from E-bay, but no mounts (that I can see) in the rear area?! The funny thing is it looks like you could put speakers in the arm rest section of the rear seat or just behind the rear strut mount points. If anyone has a set of brackets or any good advice ...? Lemmekno?

Re: Praying to the Audiophile Gods
If you buy a haynes repair manual it will tell you how to put in speakers in the rear arm rests. I just put in speakers in the rear of my 94 hb this weekend , I did the pass side first and no problem, put the speaker in where the vent is on the side in hatch, but... on the drivers side the fuel filler neck comes throughj in that spot and there is no room. I had to build a small box and bolt it to the side panel.

Re: Praying to the Audiophile Gods
I'm cheap, I got wal mart road disaster err, road master 6 1/4 inch 3 ways, I just needed some bass ,I am happy with the loudness . I mounted them to a wooden block I built and screwed into the frame , on the drivers side I built a box and screwed it into the metal where the trim panel attaches at the top and then on the bottom just screwed it to the trim panel.( it it pretty secure)
