Okay, Testor's Base/Clear coming along nicely now...
Got the hood of my Firebird done, this time taking all of your great advice and it seems to have turned out quite well. So I'll try the car out next...
Anyway, as far as the clear goes... should I wait like a week or two, then sand it with a 3000 grit polishing cloth, and then polish it? Or sooner? It's a relatively thin coat of clear. |

Re: Okay, Testor's Base/Clear coming along nicely now...
WHhen I coated my pug with clear I waited two weeks then polished it up with tamiya compound. There was no need to sand as the clear went on smooth as glass. I done three mist coats & one wet as far as I remember.

Cool thanks. So no scuffing at all before you polished, you mean?

Nope. It was, as I said, like glass!
