1984 633 CSi for dummies

I'm considering the purchase of a 1984 633 CSi with 140k miles. I know nothing about these cars and really need info/suggestions. Any info about it's strenght or pitfalls if appreciated.
TIA

I have had my 633 CSI for over a year now and the biggest pitfall is finding any info about it. i have found a few links and diagrams to help but a lot of the help has come from forums like this one. If I can help in any way please let me know. I love mine better than any other car I have had, even with all the headaches.

I can give you U.S. specs on the car if you want. For repair/maintenance help, have you tried Haynes/Chilton manuals? I also have "BMW Enthusiast's Companion", a collection of Roundel articles through the mid-90's--that might be a good purchase. Also the forums at roadfly.net are very reputable--although I don't find the forum layout as appealing as this one.
