please help
ok guys need you help some fool put a battery in my dads escort back words blown the mai nfuse now nothing when we put a afuse back in it turns over but no spark or nothing fdo you think the whole computer is fried ???????????????

Turn-off all accessories. Ignition switch OFF. Remove the under-hood light bulb. I suggest connecting the (+) battery to the (+) battery terminal leaving the (-) cable disconnected. Put the trouble light between the (-) battery terminal and the (-) cable. The light should blink. If it does, the computer is online. If the light is steady, disconnect the alternator, and the light should go out, or blink. If so, the alternator is bad. Give us some feedback on what you find.

You say you replaced the Main Fuse....FYI the ignition circuit is not fused through the Main Fuse. Did you check ALL of the fuses? Check the BTN 40A fuse very carefully. In closing be careful, shorted wiring/components can cause a fire.
