I've got a problem with my 94 fleetwood. I bought it wrecked in the front and i'm in the process of repairing it little by little. I've just noticed that while riding down the road the interior lights will come on and off for no apparent reason. Has anyone else seen this?
Also, i bought a keyless entry remote off of ebay but i've been unable to get it to work. i've tried everything that i've read on the internet and i can't seem to locate the wire that everyone refers to that is in the upper left-hand area of the trunk. Did all 94 fleetwoods come standard with this option, or is it possible that i don't even have this option on my car? Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim |

Re: electrical issues
The door jamb switches may be bad, or have a bad connection. My '79 Deville did the same thing, and one of the door jamb switches was loose.

Re: electrical issues
94 back did'nt come with the keyless entry opion for factory entry. You can instal an after market entry system that works your locks & trunk & will light the dome lights when its actavated. the interior light problem may be coming from your light switch or your door pin switchs if the lights arent blowing out then there not grounding out any where on the body also open the cover on the dome light on the headliner and make sure that the wires arent grounding.

Re: electrical issues
the wire in the trunk that you are looking for should be the trunk release wire its locted at the left side of the car in the trunk and it will be in a harness coming over the inner finder well.
