1994 Ford Escort LX Overhaul!!

My roommatte Brandon and I are probably going to start work on a project car, a 1994 Ford Escort LX Sport

Now, if your wondering What the fuck? That car is a peice of shit! that's the point.

We're going to take the base Escort and custom fabricate a set of Z3 Fenders, do a complete refiberglassed tail light job (2 door 96-98 Honda Civic Euro's), custom clear the headlights, put a hatch spoiler on it, an aluminum spoiler, custom fabricate a hood scoop for it (either GSR or SS) and get a custom widebody flare kit, to custom widebody the car, put NSX scoops in the side, and Andys Auto Sport Intimidator 2 (Black Widow) body kit....then polish it off with a nice roof scoop!!

Most likely going to go with either chrome or white rims, most likely motegi ff6's (17") with either Falken or Toyo Tires.

Might do a custom coilover suspension with sway bars & upper struts and brand new bushings, MAY replace the struts with sprint adjustables

But, the base LX car will only cost like $1,000 and it just begs for 5 g's of body work lol.

We want to take this peice of shit car and try to make it look cool....your thoughts?

I personally would not do it. But if the makeover makes you guys happy even though 5 g's poorer, then why not.

Aurg! Too many scoop's! It will slow the car down even more with all that added wind resistance. lol
Plus people are gonna point and laugh at you.
I'd rather see is more low key, simple clean paint, nice 15" light weight wheel's and lowerd.

What about the engine ? No plans for a turbo ?

I just got my engine back from being rebuilt, port and polish, bored and honned, new pistons and rings prepped for future turbo, machined decks, ARP studs, refaced the head, stiffer valve springs, machined valves, new berings, regrouned cams, filled engine mounts, certerforce dual friction clutch, all new gaskets, new oil jets, repainted engine and car, new powder coated brake calipers, Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines and Toyo Spectrum Tiers. Thats all for now.

why do you think people are gonna point and laugh at me? I don't know what world you live in, but where I live.....the most well respected and most popular people are the ones with tricked out cars.

everything from Honda's to Toyota's to Mustangs and Camaro's...body kits, rims, paint jobs, tuned motors, light kits, the works.

Simple clean paint, nice 15" wheels and lowered is....BORING!

Go to a recking yard and take a t3/t4 turbo off a car, witch is the best one for now, then get the turbo rebuilt.
