How many amps does a 97 Eldorado alternator put out?
I found a 200 amp alternator on Ebay, Im thinking of getting it but how many amps is the stock one? I am planning on putting two Optimas in my trunk for auxilary power. I wanna be able to park and watch a movie or play video games for a while, especially at car shows. Any advice would be great.

Well, not sure. Call a parts store and ask. I'd also put in a battery saver or something so if your system gets so low, it will shut everything off.
