Oil Pressure on Probe 93 GT

I drive around 10 minutes then oil pressure drops off completely. Now I took the filler cap off & oil is still getting to the top end of engine. So am I right to think that it's just oil pressure unit & not the oil pump? How can I tell is there a better way. if oil pump or Oil Pressure unit is shot. Thanks

Re: Oil Pressure on Probe 93 GT

Are you talking about the oil pump or sender unit? You can always buy a mechanical oil pump and hook it up. If your engine has oil pressure, you're fine. If it's got 35 psi or better at 2k, then it'll be fine.
