I Have A 94 Geo Metro 1.0 With Engine Id Code Of "r". What Does The "r " Stand For?

Where do you see the "r"?

There is a 993 stamped on the block along the transaxle interface of the engine in my '94 5spd. Where exactly do you see the "r"?

The "R" is in the ID# for the engine. It is located down and to the left of the 997 plate. I did find out the "R" is the letter designator for the year 1994.
